Best calamari I've eaten in Idaho. Tiramisu was unimpressive.

Love this place, I go there at least once a month, very cheap if you only buy unlimited salad and breadsticks. Yum!!

Came here as this was one of the few places open past 9:30pm Ordered the unlimited soup and salad Minestrone soup was ok- it's pretty consistent with other OGs I've frequented Angry Orchard beer was delicious Tour of Italy (3 different kinds of pasta) Service was very friendly

Super flavorful food and the waiter (Ben) was a Rockstar. We loved our family meal. Not very healthy, but worth it.

Freshest Italian food I ate in America so far especially when veggies have limited options on the go. Food- try the ravioli with portobello mushroom and house salad. Just yummy! The Mediterranean flat bread is super tasty and one of the best I've tried. Portion size is not too big as per American standards and I really appreciate that. Shared it between two of us so was just about right. Had tiramisu which was soft and silky with cup of coffee. Coffee came with biscotti so extra points on that:) Service- very fast and exactly how I would expect. Smiley waitress Nancy helped us make the order just about right as we would have landed ordering more ad wasted food which I detest personally. So great job guys, you have nailed the overall casual dining experience. Hopefully I will get this consistent level of experience in your other outlets in Bay Area California too. The only thing if I had to point out was the smell in the toilet not sure what was that as they looked relatively clean.

This is one of the only two places in town that serves pasta. We mostly come here because it's one of the few places that's opened past 8 pm on weekdays, and the service is nearly always friendly. The food is usually hit and miss, most of the time if you order pasta with a cream-based sauce it's FAR too salty, so we try to stick with tomato-based dishes. For the first time ever, the tiramisu wasn't out when we got there, which turned out to be a real shame because it was bland.

Why oh why is olive garden always so busy? I came to idaho falls on a mini family vacation and we took my nephew out (from rexburg). He chose here because he is a poor college student. Not my first choice but I'm good with OG, it is normally a solid choice. I prefer to try local joints when travelling. Anyway we arrived about 5pm on a Saturday night which I thought was early enough but I was wrong. Our wait time was 30 to 40 minutes. So least the estimate was spot on. We were seated at 5:30pm. So far so good. We ordered and the food came out pretty fast. By the time we were seated we heard others say the wait time was 60 minutes, so get here early on a weekend night. My only complaints were the noise level in the restaurant, which was out of control, and the server was not fast. She took forever to get our drinks and when we ran out we had to beg for more. She wad just slow. The food was hot and great and what you come to expect from OG.

The food overall is good, prices a little high, went cheap on a few things like the salad, using iceberg lettuce now instead of romaine. Service good.

Always great food, and never disappointed! We love the Soupa Toscana!!!!!

The wait staff was incredible - skilled, pleasant, the very portrait of professionalism. Sadly, their management must not recognize their talent because they insist on having customers use a little screen instead if having actual human interaction. The food was better than expected and we had a great time. I hope management scraps the iPads and recognizes their strengths.

Food and service are always consistently very good! Use call ahead seating to beat the rush!

Bread sticks are good the food over all was great! However I'm giving them 3 stars because the last two times I went to this particular location the waitress proceeded to tell me that they were out of 3 things on the menu so I had to settle for spaghetti and meat balls which was good. How the heck do you run out of things off your menu??! Wow!! Someone there needs to do a better job of ordering or the cook needs to pull his head out!! Seriously I have not been back since.

We ate so much, and it was so good, both nights! We have a Olive Garden in Kenner, LA but it is not as good. Service was very good, both times. Tends to have a little noise, but people are happy, when eating good food, also had many families there.

Its Olive Garden. Same food as all the others. It's clean and usually packed with families. Last time I was here I had some seafood dish that was good, same as always. But here in Idaho Falls, get ready for it to be loud and full of kids.

Good food, great server. We went in for lunch today around 2:00 and found the place packed. Even though it was very busy everything came out in a timely manner although we did have to wait a few minutes for a second load of breadsticks. Love this place and would go back again. Good food fast, better than fast food.

POSITIVES: Simply one of our best nights eating out. The food was awesome. Breadsticks are as amazing as I remember. It was my first time trying their soups, and I was very impressed with them (I prefer the chicken gnocchi, zuppa toscana, and pasta e fagioli in that order). The spaghetti was decent. I usually get the fettuccine alfredo (add chicken). The ziti pasta is pretty good. Our server Nicholas was super friendly and on top of it, kept our waters full and really spoiled us. NEGATIVES: there was just a small wait. It's a little expensive, but considering what you get, it's definitely worth it.

Consistent, predictable, and wonderful service. Exactly what you hope from a chain restaurant when traveling long distances. Fast service as well. The only 'up selling' that we got was when we had to specifically ask for Lunch menus at 12:30pm instead of the huge entrée menu. Very few hot sandwiches served on the weekends.

Normally excellent service and real attentive to groups. I have had great experiences with 20 plus people. Today we're off to a slow start the Italians may be in a mid afternoon funk. Cheryl greeted us at the table and said she'll be right back. After I asked for her to the hostess she showed up 10 mins later. But is a first here so maybe just a glitch. But there was no apology.

We had the best waiter- Alex. He said it was his last night working, but he was seriously wonderful! Always great food and love the buy one take one option. Thanks for a great night out Alex!

From the time I walked in the door I had a good feeling and when my sever was Maegen it got so much better. She seem to anticipate my every need, and my glass was never empty. I ordered the Tour of Italy and it was fantastic, very comparable to the food I had in Rome, Italy in 2011. My only regret is I was just passing through on my way to Yellowstone and won't be back this way in the near future. If you do go to this Olive Garden ask for Maegen you will be very pampered. After dinner take a walk along the river walk its close by the Restaurant.

The food has never let me down here!! The service is usual quite friendly and prompt. But sometimes the wait times are a bit long and a few areas of the resturaunt are a bit cramped.

Great service. I believe our servers name was Austin, but all the servers there seem to be very upbeat and happy to be working.

Love this place. The food is always good; never have been disapponted. I love the periodic new dishes that they add. In addition to their regular menu thaey try out new items. That is always exciting as they bring in the best flavors melded into the unique and creative ways. The staff are the best: friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. Their slogan is "when you are here, you are family." The staff do their best to make that a reality. They are genuine. I love them! This is absolutely the best place to eat in Idaho Falls!

I've always asserted that Olive Garden just warms up LeanCuisines and deftly slides them onto each plate. I have to say Olive Garden is possibly the most overrated restaurant in the history of the world. I dare say it's the "Inception" of restaurants if you catch my metaphor. Olive Garden: I liked it better when it was called LeanCuisine and only cost me a dollar fifty.

Yayy~ In general, I love Olive Garden. Even though their food is extremely overrated and overpriced, I'm still cool paying like $40 for two plates of NOODLES with a yummy sauce. Anyway, this time i thought it would be cool to go because i had seen on TV that they had this 2 for $24 deal going on for a "limited time" so.. we decided to give it a shot. And actually it was pretty impressive. Luz just looked at the menu and thought it was lame, but the server kept on saying that it was good and it was actually a lot of food. blah blah, we ended up doing that and got what the server had suggested. You first get the endless salad (we obviously chose the Garden Salad... but you actually have more to choose from, the Garden salad is just the "default" one) you also get the endless breadsticks. Then you get an appetizer of your choice (in this special menu they give you about 5 or so to choose from) We got the Lasagna fritta (or something like that) which is like a big round pasta (like a cannelloni) but they have some kind of batter and then fried. Deep fried most likely. and something goes inside, cream cheese and some kind of veggie or so. Not sure about the filling, and then on top of it comes the marinara sauce. (they will obviously give you prettier names for these items, but truly deeply inside you and me know it's just tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.) It was good actually. Very oily, but it was good. They give you about 5 pieces total. Then you choose two entrees. I chose mozzarella chicken penne and Luz got creamy chorizo penne or something like that. I totally invented the name, but i'm pretty sure it had to be something along those lines. We had like half of it and took the other half home, because really, IT WAS A LOT OF FOOD. I liked mine though, it was good, just needed some salt. (that's a good thing though, it's always better to put some salt than to take it off....? anyway, you get the idea) However..... Luz didn't like his so much. or at all. Because it was supposed to be "spicy sausage" which to him it wasn't very spicy (but don't take his word for it, because he is mexican and nothing is too spicy for him...) but he didn't like that the tomato sauce on top didn't really match with the sausage, the flavors didn't mix in well i guess. And last but absolutely NOT LEAST..... I can't have water with food. So I either do soda or a lemonade. I asked for a lemonade, they only had regular or strawberry but they weren't refillable... (HELLO!??? REALLY????!?!) And so i asked if they had another kind but with free refills, and he said yeah we have some.... He brought me a raspberry lemonade. Let me tell you one thing: NASTY. Absolutely TASTELESS. even a little bitter, like when you use lemon instead of lime. I don't know. It had no sugar, no color, (maybe a hint of pink... and sweet as if you would have dumped a candy in water for about 30 mins...) So... yeah. I could only give it a few sips and ask for a soda. Bummer?!,,,,,, Then on the way out to the car my stomach starts hurting. I thought it was the carbonation but i guess not. I get home and throw everything up. GOOD JOB OLIVE GARDEN!!!!!!!! YOU MADE MY NIGHT. NOT. I hate you.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
